Reiki is a gentle and natural technique of healing that works together with the body’s natural healing capabilities to promote and accelerate the healing process. Reiki restores balance on the physical, mental, and emotional levels and is complimentary to other forms of treatment one may be undergoing. Reiki is not associated with any religion and is safe and accessible to everyone.
As a certified Reiki practitioner and trained grief counseling hospice worker, I provide Reiki healing, spiritual life coaching and intuitive counseling.
The loss of a loved one is one of the most traumatic events we can experience during our lifetime. After someone we love dies, we experience a range of emotions. Feelings of sadness, despair, anger, bitterness, guilt, and regret can stay with of us for months, sometimes years. This can take a toll on our bodies, which can manifest a range of mental and physical symptoms.
Reiki helps you to get in touch with these emotions and allows you to find inner peace with your loved ones passing, enabling the healing process and acceptance to begin.
During our lifetime, our bodies can hold onto painful experiences, memories, or trauma. If left unprocessed, it can lead to physical, emotional, and mental discomfort.
A reiki treatment helps to move this stuck energy through the body. During a reiki treatment, it is not uncommon for the body to react, which can cause twitching, trembling, stomach gurgling, crying, chills, and feelings of warmth or heat.
This is a normal reaction during the releasing process and an important part of the recovery process. It may feel uncomfortable at first, as these emotions and old memories rise to the surface.
Clients typically report feeling calm and soothed after the session, with more clarity, awareness and understanding surrounding the trauma.
